While we rush around buying more "stuff" for friends and family who likely don't need more "stuff"... this is the best gift I can imagine giving.
Platelets!
I was scheduled to give plasma today to Canadian Blood Services. Last minute, they called me to ask if I could donate platelets instead. Turns out, someone with my blood type was in need.
This felt good.
